  • Unit 1: Foundations of Reggio Emilia Philosophy History and principles of the Reggio Emilia approach The role of the environment as the "third teacher" The importance of relationships in early childhood education Unit 2: The Reggio-Inspired Curriculum Project-based and inquiry-based learning The Hundred Languages of Children Documentation and assessment in a Reggio-inspired setting Unit 3: The Role of the Educator in Reggio-Inspired Practice Co-learning and teacher research Collaboration and professional development Building relationships with children, families, and the community Unit 4: The Reggio-Inspired Environment Designing indoor and outdoor learning spaces Integrating nature and sustainability The use of open-ended materials in the learning environment Unit 5: Documentation and Assessment in Reggio-Inspired Practice Observation and documentation techniques Reflective practice and pedagogical documentation Assessment for learning in a Reggio-inspired setting Unit 6: Leadership and Advocacy in Reggio-Inspired Practice Promoting the Reggio Emilia approach in your setting Building a Reggio-inspired learning community Advocacy and networking in the early childhood sector Assessments will be based on a combination of written assignments, reflective journals, practical demonstrations, and project presentations. Students must also submit a portfolio of their work, including examples of documentation and learning experiences from their practice. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded the Level 3 Diploma in Reggio Professional Practice in Early Childhood, accredited and awarded by CACHE.

  • You will need to be actively working- employed of voluntary- in an Early Years setting to undertake this course and qualification
