What do I get?

Block 1: Equality, diversity and rights in health and social care and Human growth and development. Block 2: Safeguarding in health and social care and Communication in health and social care Block 3: Infection prevention and control in health and social care Block 4: Psychological perspectives in health and social care and Sociological perspectives in health and social care. Block 5: Working in health and social care and Reflective practice. Work Placement: You will complete a booklet of tasks with the support of the college and a work-based mentor. You will not require an assessed observation by the college for this course, although an observation may occur with your college assess on your examination day to cover any gaps if required.

What do I need?

Learners will be required to attend placement in a real work environment to support their learning
The minimum required number of placement hours are 75 hours. Entry requirements of Higher Education Institutions may specify the need for more work experience. Placement is a crucial element of the learner's journey
